Revigard data handling
Revigard stores an account email address, password hash, workspace membership and website ownership proof to provide access to monitored websites. It stores subscription status and Stripe references for billing. Payment card details are handled by Stripe.
Website monitoring
After ownership verification, scheduled and requested checks collect technical results from selected public pages and domain records. These include findings, response times, uptime incidents, DNS and email-authentication records, and health history. Monitoring does not require access to protected pages or submission of website forms.
Visual and content monitoring are optional paid features. When enabled, Revigard stores screenshots and extracted text from the homepage and up to one selected public page. Public pages can themselves contain personal information; review the pages before enabling these features. Screenshots and generated PDF reports are kept in private storage outside the web root.
Alerts, reports and deletion
Revigard stores alert and notification history. Optional alert emails and monthly report emails are sent to workspace members according to their settings. Account deletion anonymizes the login and, for a sole-owner workspace, its name, and stops monitoring. Deleted websites are marked for removal; operator-run retention commands can remove their stored records and private files after 30 days, then remove an empty deleted workspace's local records and aged anonymized account rows. These commands are preview-first and are not enabled automatically. Stripe records follow a separate retention process. Backups are currently disabled; if enabled later, they will have a separate retention process.
